La notizia è arrivata da poche ore, il cantante e musicista Chester Bennington è morto suicida, aveva 41 anni.
Chester Charles Bennington (Phoenix, 20 marzo 1976 – Palos Verdes Estates, 20 luglio 2017), è stato un cantautore, frontman dei Linkin Park.
In passato era stato membro degli Stone Temple Pilots e Dead by Sunrise.
La rivista statunitense Hit Parader, aveva inserito Chester alla posizione 46 della classifica dei 100 migliori cantanti metal di tutti i tempi.
Secondo i media, Bennington, soffriva di depressione, peggiorata dall’ abuso di droga ed alcol, ma anche dalla scomparsa dell’ amico Chris Cornell.
