Il 15 gennaio è morta improvvisamente Dolores O’Riordan.
Dolores Mary Eileen O’Riordan (Limerick, 6 settembre 1971 – Londra, 15 gennaio 2018) è stata una cantautrice e musicista irlandese.
È stata la cantante, autrice e chitarrista dei Cranberries. Dopo aver lasciato, seppur non ufficialmente, la formazione per intraprendere la carriera da solista nel 2003, è tornata nel gruppo nel 2009.(Fonte Wikipedia)
La band raggiunse il grande successo con l’album “No Need to Argue” del 1994, trascinato dalla canzone Zombie premiata agli MTV Awards come migliore canzone nel 1995.
Negli ultimi giorni, Dolores era a Londra per una breve sessione di registrazioni.
La O’Riordan ha lasciato 3 figli, avuti con l’ ex marito Don Burton, live manager dei Duran Duran.
