Elvis Aaron Presley era nato a Tupelo (USA) l’ 8 gennaio 1935 ed è stato cantante, musicista ed attore. In suo onore il brano My Way, con testo e video.
Elvis è stato (ed è tuttora) il Re del rock’n roll. Difficile pensare alla musica senza di lui.
Nella sua carriera, durata circa 24 anni, Elvis pubblicò 61 album, vendendo più di un miliardo di dischi.
Numeri da capogiro, come la quantità di fans che ogni anno ricordano The King, andando alla sua villa museo “Graceland”, che si trova al numero 3734 del Boulevard Elvis Presley a Memphis, divenuta la seconda residenza più famosa e visitata degli USA dopo la Casa Bianca.
Presley morì a Memphis alle ore 15.00 del 16 agosto del 1977, a causa di un attacco cardiaco, all’età di 42 anni.
Per celebrare il suo compleanno, ho pensato di postarvi il brano My Way. La hit fu composta da Claude François e Paul Anka nel 1968.
