Oggi il leggendario Jim Morrison avrebbe compiuto 74 anni. In suo ricordo vi posto il brano dei Doors intitolato “Touch Me”, con testo e video.
James Douglas Morrison, detto “Jim” (Melbourne, USA, 8 dicembre 1943 – Parigi, 3 luglio 1971), è stato un cantautore e poeta, frontman dei leggendari The Doors.
Jim morì in circostanze mai completamente chiarite, quando aveva solo 27 anni. Nonostante questo, rimane uno dei cantautori più amati del rock, grazie ai suoi testi ed al grande carisma.
Re Lucertola si ispirò moltissimo ai poeti maledetti, tanto che anche il nome Doors deriva da una poesia di William Blake, in particolare in questo verso : “Se le porte della percezione fossero purificate, tutte le cose apparirebbero agli uomini come sono veramente: infinite”.
Touch Me è una canzone del gruppo rock statunitense The Doors, scritta dal chitarrista Robby Krieger. Il singolo venne estratto dall’album The Soft Parade e pubblicato nel dicembre 1968.(Fonte Wikipedia).
