14 anni fa moriva l’ indimenticabile Robert Palmer. In suo ricordo, vi posto il brano Johnny And Mary, con testo e video.
Il 26 settembre 2003 moriva a Parigi, a seguito di un attacco cardiaco, il cantautore e chitarrista Robert Allen Palmer.
Robert Palmer Era nato a Batley (UK) il 19 gennaio 1949 ed aveva iniziato la carriera musicale sul finire degli anni ’60.
Nel 1974 debuttò come solista con l’ album “Sneakin’ Sally Through the Alley”, ma il grande successo arrivò 5 anni più tardi con la hit “Johnny and Mary”, contenuta nel disco “Clues”.
Dal 1984 al 1997 alternò la sua carriera con quella dei Power Station, la band da lui formata con Andy e John Taylor dei Duran Duran e Tony Thompson degli Chic.
In suo ricordo, vi posto la stupenda hit Johnny and Mary, estratta dall’album Clues del 1979.
