John Errington, alias John Miles, è nato a Jarrow (UK) il 23 aprile 1949 ed oggi compie 68 anni.
John è un ottimo cantante, chitarrista e pianista.
Iniziò la propria attività nei primi anni ’70, raggiungendo la grande notorietà come cantante degli Alan Parsons Project.
Con Alan Parsons cantò nei brani dell’ album Tales of Mystery and Imagination – Edgar Allan Poe del 1976. Nel solito anno, Miles pubblicò Music, che divenne un successo di livello mondiale.
Per la realizzazione di Music, Miles poté contare della produzione di Alan Parsons e per gli arrangiamenti orchestrali di Andrew Powell,
Nel 1977 fu ospite del Festival di Sanremo.
Tra le sue grandi collaborazioni, voglio ricordare il tour con Tina Turner e la sua partecipazione all’album Outrider di Jimmy Page.
