Billy Gibbons è il chitarrista principale e cantante degli ZZ Top, di cui è uno dei principali compositori-
William Frederick Gibbons, detto Billy, è nato a Houston (USA) il 16 dicembre 1949, caratterizzato dalla sua lunga barba ha avuto diversi ruoli come attore (come in Bones) ed è un collezionista di Hot Rod.
Nello stile di Billy Gibbons si fondono il Blues, il Southern Rock fino ad arrivare all ‘ Hard Rock.
Sharp Dressed Man è un singolo dei ZZ Top, pubblicato nel 1983 ed estratto dall’album Eliminator.
La rivista americana Guitar World, ha inserito il solo di chitarra di Billy, al n° 43 nella classifica dei migliori 50 assoli di tutti i tempi.
La macchina rossa che compare nel video è la Eliminator, una Ford Coupe Hot rod del 1933.
