Bob Seger, vero nome Robert Clark Seger, è nato a Detroit (USA) il 6 maggio 1945, è un chitarrista, pianista, organista, compositore in attività dal 1965.
Il suo stile è fatto di musica rock, blues, country e psichedelica. Negli anni ha collaborato con artisti di fama mondiale, come Gene Simmons, Eagles, Glenn Frey, Roy Bittan, ispirando musicisti come John Mellencamp e Tom Petty.
Il suo nome appare dal 2004 nella Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ed è in lista insieme quello della Silver Bullet Band nell’elenco dei musicisti che fanno parte delle celebrità della Hollywood Walk of Fame, inscritta al numero 1750 di Vine Street, Hollywood, California. (Fonte Wikipedia)
