Bonnie Raitt è nata a Burbank (USA), l’ 8 novembre 1949.
Bonnie è sicuramente una delle più dotate chitarriste nell’uso della tecnica slide.
In attività dal 1971, è una delle più importanti artiste del blues, anche se nel suo stile si fondono il country, il folk ed il rock.
Something to Talk About è un brano dalla cantautrice Shirley Eikhard e registrata da Bonnie Raitt, per l’album del 1991 Luck of the Draw.
Grazie a questa canzone, la Raitt vinse un Grammy Award nel 1992 nella categoria “miglior performance femminile pop”. (Fonte Wikipedia)
