La notizia è arrivata improvvisa, Dusty Hill è morto nel sonno a 72 anni, segnando forse la fine dei leggendari ZZ Top.
L’ annuncio della morte è stato dato dai ZZ Top, i quali hanno scritto sui loro profili social : Siamo rattristati dalla notizia che il nostro Compagno, Dusty Hill, è morto nel sonno nella sua casa di Houston, in Texas. Noi, insieme alle legioni di fan degli ZZ Top in tutto il mondo, sentiremo la mancanza della tua presenza solida, della tua natura buona e dell’impegno costante nel dare quel sottofondo monumentale ai “Top”. Saremo per sempre legati a quel “Blues Shuffle in C”. Ci mancherai tantissimo amigo.
Joseph Michael Hill, detto Dusty (Dallas, 19 maggio 1949 – Houston, 28 luglio 2021), è stato un bassista, tastierista e cantante statunitense, conosciuto prevalentemente per essere il bassista e tastierista degli ZZ Top.
