Il 17 aprile 1960, moriva a 31 anni il grande Eddie Cochran. Per ricordarlo, ho pensato di postarvi il brano “Twenty Flight Rock”, con testo e video.

Eddie Cochran è stato un punto di riferimento per molti artisti rock, che nella loro carriera lo hanno omaggiato con pregevoli cover. Beatles, Rolling Stones, Who, Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Beck, Cliff Richard, hanno eseguito i suoi brani nella loro straordinaria carriera.
Edward Raymond Cochran (Albert Lea, 3 ottobre 1938 – Bath, 17 aprile 1960) è stato un cantante e compositore statunitense. Esponente del primo rockabilly, di grande influenza nella musica pop degli ultimi anni cinquanta e dei primi anni sessanta, i suoi pezzi più famosi sono Summertime Blues, C’mon Everybody, Twenty Flight Rock e Somethin’ Else. Twenty Flight Rock fu composto da Eddie Cochran e Nelda “Ned” Fairchild e pubblicato nel 1957 nel 45″, con Cradle Baby sul lato B.
