Huey Lewis, vero nome Hugh Anthony Cregg III, è nato a New York il 5 luglio 1950, è cantante, armonicista ed attore, fondatore della band Huey Lewis and the News.
Lewis cominciò la sua carriera musicale nei primi anni ’70, con una band di Sa Francisco, chiamata Clover, con cui ebbe un discreto successo proponendo brani di jazz funk.
Dopo aver la sciato la band, il cantante formò gli Huey Lewis and the News, con cui ebbe un grande successo tra gli anni ’80 e ’90.
Dal 2018, Huey ha interrotto la sua produzione, a causa probabilmente della Sindrome di Menière.
