Joe Bonamassa è nato a Utica (USA) l’ 8 maggio 1977, esordì nel 2000, diventando ben presto uno dei più apprezzati chitarristi ed autori del blues rock.
Dotato di grande tecnica, ha saputo rimanere fedele al blues portandolo nel futuro, come fecero in passato artisti come Steve Ray Vaughan e Gary Moore, che purtroppo ci hanno lasciato troppo presto.
Nella sua ventennale carriera, Bonamassa ha collaborato e duettato con artisti di livello mondiale, come Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Paul Rodgers, Jack Bruce, Joe Cocker, Gregg Allman, Eric Johnson, Warren Haynes, Foreigner, Beth Hart, Danny Gatton.
La canzone Drive è estratta dall’omonimo album del 2016.
