Joe Walsh, leggendario chitarrista e compositore, membro degli Eagles dal 1975 ad oggi , è nato a Wichita (USA) il 20 novembre 1947 .
La sua carriera musicale cominciò verso la metà degli anni ’60, come chitarristra nella garage band dei The Measles.
Nel 1969 entrò a far parte della James Gang, ma fu 6 anni più tardi che gli spalancarono le porte della leggenda, quando entrò a far parte degli Eagles.
Joe Walsh ha pubblicato ben 13 album solisti, ha collaborato con vari artisti e come turnista nella Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band.
Dotato di grande tecnica, capace di spaziare dal rock al blues al folk, sicuramente il suo capolavoro come assolo di chitarra è stato Hotel California degli Eagles, con quel leggendario duetto con Don Felder.
La rivista Rolling Stone ha posizionato Joe Walsh al n°54, della speciale classifica dei 100 migliori chitarristi di tutti i tempi!
