Oggi ho voluto ricordare il grande batterista John Bonham dei Led Zeppelin, attraverso la canzone Trampled Under Foot, con testo e il video.

Il 25 settembre 1980 moriva a 32 anni John Bonham dei Led Zeppelin.
John Henry Bonham, detto Bonzo, era nato a Redditch (UK) il 31 maggio 1948 ed imparò a suonare da autodidatta, imitando i suoi musicisti preferiti come Buddy Rich e Gene Krupa. Nel 1968 entrò a far parte della band di Robert Plant, chiamata Band Of Joy.
In seguito allo scioglimento della band, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones e John Bonzo formarono i Led Zeppelin, una delle più innovative band di Rock Blues, pionieri dell’ Hard Rock, entrando ben presto nella leggenda. Quando Bonzo morì nella villa di Page, soffocato dal proprio vomito, i Led Zeppelin si sciolsero.
John Bonham è considerato il miglior batterista di sempre, grazie alla sua grande inventiva che gli ha consentito di creare dei grooves, che oggi sono alla base della tecnica moderna.
Trampled Under Foot è un brano del gruppo inglese Led Zeppelin, incluso nel loro sesto album Physical Graffiti. Composto da Jimmy Page, Robert Plant e John Paul Jones è uscito come singolo nel 1975, insieme al B-side Black Country Woman. (Fonte Wikipedia)
