La cantante ed attrice Pia Zadora oggi compie 65 anni. Per celebrarla, vi posto la canzone “When the Rain Begins To Fall”, con testo e video ufficiale.

Pia Alfreda Schipani, questo il suo vero nome, è nata a Hoboken (USA) il 4 maggio 1954.
Di origini italiane (da parte di padre) e polacche ( da parte di madre), esordì nel cinema nel 1962, recitando nel film “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians”.
Ricevette il Golden Globe per l’ interpretazione del brano “It’s Wrong For Me To Love You”, colonna sonora di Ennio Morricone del film “Butterfly-Il sapore del peccato”, in cui la Zadora è anche attrice.
Nonostante le grandi premesse, Pia non riuscì a mantenere il successo a grandi livelli, ricevendo alcuni Golden Raspberry Award come peggior attrice.
When the rain begins to fall, è una celebre canzone pop, incisa nel 1984 da Jermaine Jackson e da Pia Zadora e facente parte della colonna sonora del film di fantascienza di James Fargo Voyage of the Rock Aliens (1984), dove Pia Zadora interpretava uno dei ruoli principali. (Fonte Wikipedia)
