Robert Palmer, moriva Il 26 settembre 2003 a Parigi, a seguito di un attacco cardiaco.
Robert Allen Palmer Era nato a Batley (UK) il 19 gennaio 1949 ed aveva iniziato la carriera musicale sul finire degli anni ’60.
Nel 1974 debuttò come solista con l’ album “Sneakin’ Sally Through the Alley”, ma il grande successo arrivò 5 anni più tardi con la hit “Johnny and Mary”, contenuta nel disco “Clues”.
Dal 1984 al 1997 alternò la sua carriera con quella dei Power Station, la band da lui formata con Andy e John Taylor dei Duran Duran e Tony Thompson degli Chic.
She makes my day è sta pubblicata nel 1988 per l’ album Heavy Nova. Il brano raggiunse la sesta posizione delle classifiche inglesi ed irlandesi.
