Robert Anthony Plant, che è nato a West Bromwich (UK) il 20 agosto 1948 ed è un cantante, musicista e compositore britannico, leggendario frontman dei Led Zeppelin.
Plant è stato il vero innovatore del canto rock, dotato di voce straordinaria da alto tenore, ha introdotto il vocalizzo estremo, che è la caratteristica imprescindibile dei cantanti Hard Rock ed Heavy Metal.
Robert Plant fu chiamato nel 1968 da Jimmy Page per entrare nei Led Zeppelin, rimanendovi fino al 1980, anno dello scioglimento della band a causa dell’improvvisa morte del batterista John Bonham.
I Led Zeppelin furono una band straordinaria, un vero super gruppo capace di segnare la differenza tra il rock ed il futuro Heavy Metal e, gran parte del merito va attribuita a Robert Plant, che è stato posizionato al 15° posto nella lista dei 100 migliori cantanti secondo la rivista Rolling Stone.
Since I’ve Been Loving You è un brano dei Led Zeppelin pubblicato nell’album Led Zeppelin III del 1970.
Fu una delle prime canzoni preparate per l’album Led Zeppelin III. John Paul Jones ha usato un organo Hammond, mentre con i piedi suonava un basso a pedali. Si tratta di una traccia molto suonata nei live e, come riferito dai Led Zeppelin, la più difficile da registrare. (Fonte Wikipedia)
