Buon compleanno a Ronnie Wood: Rolling Stones – Beast of Burden

Oggi il grande Ronnie Wood ha compiuto 70 anni. In suo onore il brano dei Rolling Stones, Beast of Burden.

Ronald David Wood, è nato a Londra il 1° giugno 1947, è un chitarrista, bassista, compositore, pittore, in attività dal 1964.

Dopo aver militato nel Jeff Beck Group e nei Faces, entrò nei Rolling Stones nel 1975 per l’ album Black And Blue.

Personalmente credo che Ronnie sia un ottimo chitarrista, talvolta sottovalutato come spalla di Keith Richards, in realtà è anche grazie alla sua tecnica se gli Stones hanno evoluto il loro sound verso funk, new wave e disco music, senza mai tradire il loro passato.

In questi giorni, è stato asportato un nodulo ai polmoni di Ronnie, tutto è andato bene e presto lo vedremo suonare con gli Stones, per il No Filter Tour 2017.
