Taylor Hawkins, straordinario batterista dei Foo Fighters è morto questa mattina. Per ricordarlo, vi posto il brano The Pretender, con testo e video.

Taylor Hawkins, batterista dei Foo Fighters è morto improvvisamente in un hotel di Bogotà, si trovava in tour con la band ed avrebbe dovuto suonare al Festival Estèreo Picnic.
Pare che il batterista avrebbe lamentato forti dolori al petto, ma all’arrivo dei soccorsi fosse già deceduto. Alcune fonti di stampa, riferiscono che la sua improvvisa morte, sia dovuta al consumo di droga.
Oliver Taylor Hawkins (Fort Worth, 17 febbraio 1972 – Bogotà, 25 marzo 2022) entrò a far parte dei Foo Fighters nel 1997 come batterista, ruolo certo non facile visto che Dave Grohl è considerato uno dei migliori al mondo.
Dotato di tecnica, carisma e voce, collaborò con i Queen, Slash e Vasco Rossi.
Per ricordare il suo grande lavoro musicale, ho pensato di postarvi il brano The Pretender dei Foo Fighters, pubblicato il 6 agosto 2007 come primo estratto dal sesto album in studio Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.
