Nel 1984 gli Wham! pubblicarono Careless Whisper come singolo, la canzone fu scritta da Michael con Andrew Ridgeley.
Il brano ebbe un successo straordinario, raggiungendo le vette delle classifiche in tutto il mondo. Careless Whisper è una splendida ballata pop/jazz, che fu inclusa nell’ottimo album Make It Big del 1984.
In queste ore girano voci, in cui l’ artista sarebbe morto per una overdose. Forse presto sapremo la causa, ma rimane il fatto che Michael aveva 53 anni ed un talento incredibile.
