Il 27 ottobre di 7 anni fa moriva il grande Lou Reed. Ho pensato di ricordarlo, con il brano “Down At The Arcade”, con testo e video.

Lou Reed, vero nome Lewis Allan Reed, (New York, 2 marzo 1942 – Southampton, 27 ottobre 2013), è stato un cantautore, chitarrista e poeta, cofondatore dei Velvet Underground.
Lou è stato uno dei più importanti artisti della scena musicale del rock, diventandone l’ Angelo Nero e precursore del Punk.
Nei suoi testi, sono stati affrontati temi scomodissimi, la droga, la bisessualità, la vita degli emarginati.
La sua voce all’ apparenza apatica, dava risalto ai suoi testi ed alla sua musica, passando dal Rock all’ Heavy Metal, con influenze R&B ed altro ancora.
Adoro la musica di Lou Reed, ogni suo disco è un capolavoro volto al futuro musicale.
La canzone Down At The Arcade, è estratta dall’album New Sensations del 1984.
