Neil Percival Young (Toronto, 12 novembre 1945) è un cantautore e chitarrista canadese.
Dopo aver debuttato giovanissimo con la storica formazione dei Buffalo Springfield e aver raggiunto il successo nel supergruppo Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Neil si è imposto come uno dei più carismatici e influenti cantautori degli anni settanta, contribuendo a ridefinire la figura del songwriter con album come After the Gold Rush e il vendutissimo Harvest. Neil è un artista incredibile, capace di passare dal country al rock alternativo, con semplicità ma mai banale.
Il suo inconfondibile stile, divenne negli anni ’90 uno dei punti di riferimento del genere Grunge.
Harvest Moon è una canzone che dà il titolo all’omonimo album discografico di Neil Young pubblicato nel 1992 dalla Reprise Records.
