Stephen Percy Harris, alias Steve Harris, è nato a Londra il 12 marzo 1956, è bassista, compositore, fondatore degli Iron Maiden.
Steve è il principale compositore, tastierista e bassista degli Iron Maiden, da lui stesso fondati nel 1975. Harris e Dave Murray sono gli unici componenti presenti in tutte le produzioni della band.
In attività dal 1974, Harris è uno dei più influenti bassisti dell’ Heavy Metal. Nel suo dna musicale, sono presenti Jethro Tull, Black Sabbatg, UFO.
Wasting Love è il primo singolo della band ad essere pubblicato solo nel formato CD e non più in vinile ed è anche la prima e finora unica power-ballad incisa dagli Iron ad essere pubblicata come singolo. (Fonte Wikipedia)
