Reginald Kenneth Dwight, alias Sir Elton Hercules John, è nato a Pinner (UK) il 25 marzo 1947.
Cantautore, musicista e compositore, Elton John è uno dei maggiori artisti del rock contemporaneo.
In attività dal 1964, la rivista Rolling Stone lo ha inserito al 49º posto nella sua lista dei 100 migliori artisti di tutti i tempi ed al 38º posto delle 100 migliori voci di tutti i tempi.
Artista straordinario, nella sua carriera ha conquistato 25 dischi di platino e 35 d’oro, ha vinto sei Grammy Awards.
La canzone “Rocket Man” è estratta dall’album “Honky Château” del 1972.
Il video ufficiale ha superato la quota di 32 milioni di visualizzazioni.
