I Kula Shaker hanno pubblicato Waves, il singolo che dovrebbe anticipare l’ uscita del nuovo ed attesissimo album.
La band britannica, nata nella metà degli anni ’90, si è sempre contraddistinta per le sue sonorità, in cui il rock psichedelico in stile Flower Power, si mescola alla musica indiana.
La band composta da Crispian Mills (Voce e chitarre), Alonza Bevan (Basso), Harry Broadbent (Tastiere), Jay Darlington (Hammond) e Paul Winterhart (Batteria) ha ricominciato ad esibirsi l’ anno scorso lavorando al nuovo album, che li rivede riproporre il sound dei loro inizi.
Una curiosità riguardo a Crispian Mills : Crispian John David Boulting Mills , è nato a Londra il 18 gennaio 1973, è figlio dell’attrice Hayley Mills e del regista Roy Boulting, nonché nipote dell’attore John Mills (vincitore di un premio Oscar nel 1971 per il film La figlia di Ryan).
