Angus Young, vero nome McKinnon Young è nato a Glasgow (Scozia) il 31 marzo 1955, è uno dei maggiori chitarristi della scena Hard Rock mondiale, cofondatore dei leggendari AC/DC.
In attività dal 1973, cominciò a studiare la chitarra dall’età di 5 anni.
Trasferitosi con la famiglia a Sidney, Angus Young si costruì la prima chitarra da solo, modificando un banjo.
Le sue esibizioni spettacolari, la sua divisa da scolaretto, la musica degli AC/DC, lo hanno reso una delle icone dell’ Hard Rock.
Let There Be Rock è un singolo degli AC/DC, pubblicato nel 1977 come secondo estratto dall’album omonimo, ultimo lavoro con Mark Evans.
