Barry Alan Gibb, è nato a Douglas (Isola di Man) il 1º settembre 1946.
Con i fratelli Robin e Maurice fondò gli straordinari Bee Gees, che si formarono in Australia nel 1960.
Dopo la morte di Robine Maurica, Barry è tuttora in attività.
Ho scelto per voi il brano Stayin’ Alive, colonna sonora del film cult, La febbre del sabato sera, che fu pubblicato il 13 dicembre 1977.
Barry Gibb è sposato dal 1970 con Linda Ann Grey, ed ha 5 figli Ashley, Travis, Michael, Ali e Steven.
Nel 2004 gli è stata conferita l’ onorificenza di Commendatore dell’Ordine dell’Impero Britannico.
