Oggi è il compleanno di John Lydon, cantautore frontman dei Sex Pistols ed inseguito dei Public Image Ltd.
John Joseph Lydon, che ai tempi dei Sex Pisols si faceva chiamare Johnny Rotten, è nato a Londra il 31 gennaio 1956 ed oggi compie 62 anni.
Personaggio schietto e fedele alle proprie convinzioni, Lydon è stata la voce più forte del Punk, in cui urlò tutta la rabbia di quegli anni, poi nel 1978 fondò i P.I.L. (Public Image Ltd), con cui superò il periodo post punk fino al 1993, anno in cui decise di continuare come solista.
