George Thorogood è nato a Wilmington (USA) il 24 febbraio 1950.
Cantante e chitarrista, George ha uno stile in cui si fondono rock e blues, il suo maggiore successo è Bad To The Bone del 1982 con i Destroyers.
Per celebrarlo ho scelto il primo brano che ascoltai di Thorogood, I Drink Alone del 1985.
La hit è un bel hard rock blues e parla di un uomo che passa il tempo a bere da solo.
