Nile Gregory Rodgers è nato a New York il 19 settembre 1952, è un chitarrista, compositore, arrangiatore e produttore discografico.
Raggiunto il successo planetario con i suoi Chic, tra i gruppi-simbolo della disco music, Rodgers si è poi affermato come uno dei produttori discografici più influenti nella storia della musica pop (Fonte Wikipedia).
Nella sua straordinaria carriera, ha collaborato sia come musicista che produttore, con artisti di fama mondiale, come Diana Ross, David Bowie, Sister Sledge, Max Pezzali, Duran Duran e molti altri ancora.
Let’s Dance è una canzone di David Bowie, estratta dall’omonimo album del 1983. Nile Rodgers suonò in tutto il disco, caratterizzandolo del tipico sound disco funk.
