Adele Laurie Blue Adkins è nata a Londra il 5 maggio 1988.
Cantautrice dalle grandi doti vocali, è considerata tra le più importanti del Soul bianco, anche se a mio modesto parere, è riduttivo inserirla in una etichetta di genere.
Nel suo stile c’è il Pop, l’ R&B, il Soul, ma sopratutto una donna capace di incantare il mondo con la sua voce e brani capaci di esaltarla.
La definirei la cantante dei record, perchè ha ricevuto premi e riconoscimenti ovunque, perchè in lei ha sempre prevalso la qualità a scapito della quantità, infatti dal 2008 ad oggi ha pubblicato solo 3 album.
Someone like You è un singolo pubblicato il 24 gennaio 2011, come secondo estratto dal secondo album in studio 21.
