Andy Gibb, vero nome Andrew Roy Gibb (Manchester, 5 marzo 1958 – Oxford, 10 marzo 1988) è stato un cantante britannico, era il fratello minore di Barry, Robin e Maurice Gibb del gruppo Bee Gees.
Andy ha preferito la carriera da solista, anche se ha sempre goduto dell’appoggio dei suoi tre fratelli maggiori, che lo hanno lanciato. Per propria scelta, non ha mai voluto far ufficialmente parte dei Bee Gees, nonostante i ripetuti inviti dei fratelli.
Il 7 marzo 1988, Andy si recò all’ospedale “John Radcliffe” di Oxford per farsi esaminare, in quanto accusava forti dolori allo stomaco. Tre giorni dopo, la mattina del 10 marzo, Andy Gibb morirà a soli 30 anni di età, per un’infiammazione del miocardio dovuta a un’infezione virale. (Fonte Wikipedia)
