I Foo Fighters usciranno con il nuovo album, intitolato Here We Are il prossimo 2 giugno, stanno pubblicando i vari singoli contenuti nel loro nuovo lavoro.
The Teacher è un brano di 10 minuti, scritto da Dave Grohl, il primo così lungo mai pubblicato dalla band.
Il titolo della canzone, ci fa pensare che sia dedicata alla mamma di Dave, Virginia, scomparsa poco tempo dopo Taylor Hawkins.
Trovo questo brano una vera innovazione per i Foo Fighters, in quanto si mischiano il loro tipico sound a vene psichedeliche che riportano alla mente un pò i primi Pink Floyd e i Beatles di Sgt. Peppers.
The Teachers è accompagnata da un video ufficiale, che in meno di 24 ore ha superato la quota di 300 mila visualizzazioni.
