Neil Leslie Diamond è nato a New York il 24 gennaio 1941, è un cantautore, compositore ed attore.
Diamond è dotato di una bella voce potente, ma anche di una grande vena compositiva, che gli ha permesso negli anni di realizzare hit di grande successo, come “I’m a Believer”, “America”, “September Morn” ed altre ancora.
” Craklin’ Rosie ” è una canzone scritta e registrata da Neil Diamond nel 1970, con il supporto strumentale dei musicisti di Los Angeles dei Wrecking Crew , tra cui Hal Blaine alla batteria, Larry Knechtel alle tastiere, Joe Osborn al basso, Al Casey alla chitarra, Tony Terran alla tromba e Gene Estes alle percussion . La canzone è stata inclusa nell’album Tap Root Manuscript di Diamond .
